We are proud to announce that Wildlife Habitat Council (WHC) has recertified our Skippers Quarry Wildlife Habitat Site for the 14th consecutive year since our initial certification in 2010.
Conservation certification is a continual process by which activities are maintained to offer ongoing benefit to biodiversity and people. WHC’s certification program is the only voluntary sustainability standard designed for broad-based biodiversity enhancement and conservation education activities on corporate landholdings.
In addition to our work with WHC, we partner with Capital Region Land Conservancy, Friends of the Lower Appomattox River and VCU Foundation Rice Rivers Center.
